The Porsche Driving Experience (PDE) launched in the United States in 1999 with the advent of the Porsche Sport Driving School. It was and remains today as the premier driving program in the industry. The Porsche Sport Driving School is located in Birmingham, Alabama just 15 minutes from the airport at Barber Motorsports Park. Here we have a team of professional drive instructors that can lead you around the 16 turn, 2.38 mile FIA-certified race track and work with you to progress through our curriculum programs to secure your race license if desired.
In 2015, Porsche opened the Experience Center; a first of its kind in the United States, with locations in Atlanta and Los Angeles. At the heart of each Porsche Experience Center is the purpose-built driver development track. Designed for the enthusiast in all of us to witness the capabilities of a Porsche first-hand while developing you as a driver. The drive experiences here are all designed to be one-to-one with a Porsche drive coach in the model you select. The curriculums are focused around what you want to get out of your experience; whether it's learning vehicle control or just to have some fun!

At the Porsche Experience Center Los Angeles, guests can navigate through our electrifying circuit, off-road courses, Ice Hill and other performance modules: all of which are completely dedicated to the Porsche philosophy of Intelligent Performance. The new Porsche Experience Center located in Carson California is also the new home of Porsche Motorsport North America. Within our 50,000 sq. ft. building shared with Porsche Motorsport North America, guests will get an insider's look of our historic race cars and workshop team.
Conveniently situated just minutes from Los Angeles International Airport, the Porsche Experience Center is near the intersection of two major Los Angeles-area traffic arteries. In a region famous for its beaches and car events, Porsche has created a destination whose singular focus is to bring to life the Porsche philosophy of Intelligent Performance. The PEC LA also offers a fine dining experience in the 917 Restaurant with uninterrupted views overlooking the track. For a quick option, we also offer small bites at the Speedster Café.
